B&N Preorder Sale!

a humble plea from a debut author

Hi everyone!

Just popping in here to let you know that Barnes & Noble is hosting a huge 3-day sale, and all preorder books are 25% off! This includes both my books coming out this year, THE WIVES OF HERRICK HALL and DEATH IN VERSE!

The sale includes all formats, including print books, e-books, and audiobooks. You do have to be a Barnes & Noble member to get the discount, but joining is free (though premium members get an additional 10% off on top of the 25% discount).

Preorders are vital for authors—especially debut authors—for showing our publishers and booksellers that there is genuine interest in our books (and signal that perhaps they should promote and stock them widely!). So if you’ve been waiting for a great deal to snag one or both of my books, maybe this is your moment? 🥺👉👈

Herrick Hall doesn’t let anything go without a fight. Least of all its masters’ dead wives...

After a dalliance with another woman leaves her reputation in shambles, Josephine Carter is banished to the isolated manor to serve as lady’s companion to Herrick’s mistress. Lady Nora Blake is a headstrong, capricious woman who spends her days convalescing from a mysterious illness—and her nights witnessing her imminent death over and over. Shackled to her side, Josephine is certain life could not get worse. But then she meets the Herrick wives. Ghosts veiled in shadow stalk the halls and trespass into Josephine’s dreams, trapped forever in the fury of their last dying wish: to destroy Herrick and everyone beneath its roof. Josephine determines to escape by any means necessary.

Until she and Nora fall in love.

Together, Josephine and Nora must confront Herrick’s curse to battle their way to freedom. But Herrick has already claimed them as its next ghostly brides, and neither the house nor its vengeful wives will relinquish them without bloodshed…

“The first ferry of the new term arrives in six days. Let us hope it finds you alive and well…”

When Bronte Cade’s mother vanishes, the only clue she leaves behind is an invitation to a retreat for magical poets. Determined to find answers, Bronte attends in her mother’s place by masquerading as the esteemed Dr. Sappho Cade.

But when Bronte arrives at the Radley School of Poetry, she finds the island abandoned—save for six other confused poets, one line of an unfinished poem, and an anonymous host who issues a chilling ultimatum through an enchanted gramophone: complete the spell and they may return home on the next ferry. Fail, and they die.

There’s another problem: Bronte isn’t magical.

With escape impossible, the body count rising, and her mother still missing, Bronte forms a wary alliance with the infuriating yet brilliant Marlowe Fang. Together, they race to unmask their host before Bronte is exposed—or worse, the next victim.

But beneath the host’s sinister scheme lies an even more insidious plot, one decades in the making. It bleeds beyond the shores of Radley like an ink stain, and no one’s hands are clean. Least of all the people Bronte trusts most.

Thank you so much!

We are getting into the home stretch ahead of WIVES’ release in May, and I’m sitting on some exciting secrets (yes, plural!) that I can’t wait to share with you. In fact, I’ll see you here soon with some launch event details!

As always, your support means the world to me! ❤️
